I hope you’ve had a fabulous week!
I have to say, I’ve really enjoyed mine! It’s been 2 weeks since I deleted all social media from my phone and the level of peace, focus, joy and presence I’ve been feeling since having done so has been almost intoxicating.
It wasn’t a New Year’s resolution, just a natural pull I followed and I’ve enjoyed immensely.
Something else I’ve been doing has to be notice each time I do something that supports my health, happiness, wellbeing; recognising them as little love notes to myself.
It’s been a way of recognising all the ways I support myself and take action in being my biggest cheerleader; something which is proving to be an absolute game changer as someone who can have a pretty relentless inner critic at times.
Taking the time to affirm myself and recognise where I’m doing it through my actions has meant my inner critic barely gets a look on at the moment - freeing up a tonne of mental space for me to take action on the goals I do have! Not to mention feeling more present and playful in my personal and family life too. It’s been a really beautiful way to start the year.
How are you getting on this month? Did you set intentions or are you waiting until Spring time when the light days return?
If you started a New Years Resolution at the start of January and find you’re already feeling a bit overwhelmed, hop over to my YouTube channel where each day this week I posted a new video series on how to jumpstart your motivation or rework your goal into something that feels more aligned with you.
It’s got plenty of journal prompts to work through to help you on your journey, you don’t want to miss it! If you subscribe and hit hit bell you’ll know when any new videos drop and of course if you like the videos, you can help me to create more free content by liking them, commenting and sharing them with friends.
Have a wonderful weekend!
