Social Media For Designers – Studio Hamid Hassanzadeh

This course aims to showcase the potential of using social media to establish a credible and strong online presence. We will focus on ways of choosing the right social media platforms, analyzing their data, and generating effective strategies that align with the target audience. The course will provide a solid understanding of producing press kits, creating engaging content, methods of making high-quality publications, and interacting with their audience. The workshop is scheduled for May 20–21, 2023.

Spatial Effects with MidJourney 2.0 - Studio Joshua Vermillion

This fast-paced workshop will focus on generating images of provocative spatial volumes (interior or exterior), along with effects and atmospherics utilizing surface, lighting, textures, materials, shape, etc. We will examine and compare the differences in the outputs from various MidJourney models and workflows (for instance, MJ’s v3, v4, and v5 models, the remastering and blend options, and adjusting aspect ratios), all of which affect the coherence and “creativity” of the results. The workshop will take place on May 27 and 28, 2023.

Biomorphic Topologies – Studio Andreas Palfinger

The workshop ‘Biomorphic Topologies’ offers an in-depth introduction to organic-parametric design tools for architects and designers, using Cinema 4D and Corona Renderer. Students will learn to use the advantages of CGI software in the context of various design stages, from concept models, sculpted geometries, and procedural architectural details to environments and animations. Additionally, the workshop covers rendering and post-processing using Corona Renderer, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe After Effects. The workshop is scheduled for May 20–21, 2023.

Reactive Miniverse 2.0 / Studio Friedenberg – Machmouchi

The second installment of the Reactive Miniverse studio will continue to question the future of digital environments as spatial, cultural, and educational experiences. It explores the fundamentals of architectural narratives in the game space drawing on cultures such as film and gaming. The workshop is scheduled for?June 3 – July 29, 2023.

Evolutionary Computational Design: For Structural Optimization

This workshop is for architects, structural designers, and/or students who are interested in the simultaneous design of structure and architecture. All modeling and computational analysis will be done in the grasshopper/Rhino7. Having beginner to intermediate knowledge of Grasshoppers is a must. Karamba3D will be used for modeling and analyzing the structure during sessions. No prior Karamba 3D knowledge is required. The trial Karamba 3D version is sufficient.?The workshop is scheduled for ?June 3 - 4, 2023.
