"Celebrities and well-known figures have a ready-made audience. Their posts naturally draw attention because they already have large followings who engage with their content.
Social media algorithms are designed to prioritise posts that generate high levels of interaction, likes, comments and shares.
When a celebrity posts, the instant wave of activity tells the algorithm that their content holds value. As a result, their posts are given even more visibility, creating a cycle that amplifies their reach.
I'm not a celebrity, my brand is also mental health, which means in terms of algorithms isn't as entertaining 'clickable' or 'shareable' as entertainment-focused content. In society today mental health has become even more important.
So, if you are seeing my content, thank you. I would appreciate more support, to help spread the word of mental health."
