What is Social Convoy?

• Journey: As we all know our life is a journey. We start at one point and finally, we reach another point. During this journey we travel through many places, experiencing many victories, small wins, failures, slips, and bruises. We meet umpteen people on the way. We click with some of them, become friends with them, and share our joys, victories, and failures with them.
• Co-Passengers: Some of these people accept us, feel happy about our laurels, and become sad when we slip at some points. They travel with us, become attached to us, and are involved with our activities. We also accept them and become friends with them. They are our friends and are known as our convoy.?
• Dependence: We depend on this convoy for solace, for their advice to us, and for their encouraging words. We share with them our insults and hurts also. These social groups are critical elements of good adjustments at every stage of human development.
