It’s Ironic…

We spend so much time taking selfies and so little time looking at ourselves. We pose, we smile, we put on sunglasses to hide our eyes (the mirror of our soul), and then feel gratified we have captured a picture-perfect reflection of what we want other people to see on social media.

Have you ever looked at one of those photographs and remembered what was behind your smile and your sunglasses??

Seriously, who hasn’t seen their smiling face and internally winced at what they were feeling or thinking at that moment??

Do you wish to be smiling on the inside, as well? I would assert you do.?

No one gets up in the morning and makes a conscious decision not to be whom they want to be. There are many reasons to keep us from being who we want to be. But the most common, the ones we have control over, is the self-inflicted stories we tell ourselves.?

The only thing standing between who you are now and whom you hope to become are the stories you have accepted as being inevitable.?

Challenge yourself to think deeply about how you present yourself to the world around you I mean the real world, not your online profile. Then change your story to change your life.?

After all, you wrote it, so you get to change it. Seriously!
