Dear friends of Sobell House,

With autumn underway, we are readying ourselves for our Sobell Business Club Lunch and Christmas Coffee Morning. It’s been a busy summer,?and the last quarter shows no sign of slowing down.

Team Sobell had over 130 runners this year for the Oxford Half Marathon on Sunday 15 October and raised over ￡60,000! This phenomenal amount will go such a long way to helping Sobell House provide vital end-of-life care in our community.

Our Christmas Coffee Morning will be taking place in December. This will be a fun way to catch up with colleagues and raise some much-needed?funds for Sobell House at the same time! ?

As ever, thank you to you all for your continued support and generosity, for the time you give and the funds you raise.? We quite simply couldn’t do what we do without you.

There is moo-vement in the herd, with new businesses and organisations joining OxTrail.? We are ox-cited to announce that our Farewell Party and Auction will be hosted by Sa?d Business School, University of Oxford on Friday 13 September next year.

?How can you support OxTrail??

• Become?a match funder for your local school and support them to fundraise for a mini ox, engaging the whole school community in this project.
• Could you offer a service or in-kind support for the trail? We are particularly looking for storage and painting spaces!

Would you like to volunteer at this year's South Park Fireworks display? For every volunteer we provide to Oxford Round Table 144 , we receive a?￡100?donation!?

Volunteering jobs will include manning the gates, signposting visitors, and litter picking.

This is a great opportunity to help out your local hospice all whilst enjoying a fantastic firework display!??

This year, our Christmas Coffee Morning gives you the chance to get together with colleagues and enjoy a coffee, whilst raising funds for Sobell House. Choose a date in December, and combine coffee with a quiz, or take part in a secret Santa, bottle tombola, bake off, or raffle. ?? ?

Have you considered organising a charity Christmas donation in lieu of gifts for colleague and clients? This could increase productivity in your workplace in December, saving colleagues the time to deliver gifts. ?

After Christmas, please consider a collection for our shops of unwanted gifts, we can arrange for items to be collected.

On Friday 15 September, our annual Golf Day took place, and what a day it was!??

We want to say a big thank you to everyone who attended and to Studley Wood Golf Club for hosting our 18 teams.

We are incredibly grateful to our main Golf Day sponsors Polythene UK Ltd ?and OXFORD GENE TECHNOLOGY LIMITED . Thank you so much for your continued support.
