To make a nice juicy recipe, we need to gather all the ingredients, soak them, marinate them…watch over them till they soften and then finally cook them for a delicious recipe. So is the human mind. When your life is going through turbulence, you are unable to decide on something and your focus is going haywire, then collect all the facts about the situation…sit and soak on them…marinate them with the juices of logical intellect. Once you feel your decision is now ready, recheck, maybe you need to add more ingredients to it!! Different marination timings are required for different food recipes…some recipes may require half an hour and some, a couple of hours till they are ready to cook. Similarly, do not be in a hurry with the recipes of your decisions. You may have to give it some extra time for the flavors to come out. Don’t rush it, or else the recipe will come out raw, unpalatable to others and may be create problems for you. When you allow yourselves the time to sit and allow understanding to sink in, you can concrete the best decision possible for yourselves and for everyone involved and don’t feel pressured into coming to a conclusion immediately. - Rita Gangwani
