However, the leaders who create lasting, positive change know that real leadership stems from deeper human qualities - the ability to truly understand, connect with, and inspire those around you.

The best leaders bring out the best in others by leading with empathy, compassion, and service over self. The best leaders also lead from the position of what’s best of the organization. I truly believe that when you serve the organization it will give back to you everything you need for your own professional and personal journeys.

What does it really take to be remembered as a leader who made a difference in the lives of others? It requires embracing a new world emotional intelligence, practicing humility, maintaining a growth mindset, and having a passion for developing talent around you.

Great leadership is not about having all the answers yourself - it is about perceiving the innate talents and potential in your team members and helping guide them to reach new heights.

I have made more mistakes in leadership that I can count. But I think this journey is really all about DAILY replacing ego with the humility to continue learning, making mistakes, and becoming better. When you shift the focus from your own glory to the glory of those around you, that is when real transformation happens.
