5 - A 5 Minute Read for you and your Business

So you want to grow? So does mould.

Hey friend,

Rhys Parry here, Marketplace Monk - aka (re)builder of Kingdom businesses from scratch.

I have the privilege of working with two groups of people

?? The Pilgrims

?? The Goodies

Pilgrims?? launch a kingdom business from scratch, using God given skills & sign their next 5 clients in 90 days

For both of these groups if you were to ask them about what they want to do they would likely say to GROW something.

But as I say growth can be a false marker, if you don’t think about HOW you want to grow.

I’ve seen people grow businesses that suck all their joy.

I’ve seen people grow businesses that suck all their time.

I’ve even seen people grow businesses that suck their all money.

If you make the goal to SERVE, God and people, healthy growth is often the by-product.

It’s why with everything we do we make sure kingdom thinking is right at the centre.

On that there are few examples of healthy growth in clients recently that I hope could help you:

?? Divine Clarity

One of the Pilgrims (PS our new cohort launches May 07th!) had a massive breakthrough around CLARITY.? A large part of the battle when you are first starting out is working out where to focus:

- You tend to be swimming in overwhelm

- You have many a shiny object to take your attention

- You want to make sure you’re doing it the God way (and your theology can trip you up)

And a business is not a business without a clients - it’s a hobby.

So you need clients.

After one prayer focussed session this week one such Pilgrim got the clarity she needed, practical market research to help her and, most importantly, divine inspiration around WHAT she wanted to grow.

Prayer and a Proven Plan is like rocket fuel!

?? 370% Steady Growth

No I’m not about to say a client pressed a button and the money fell from the sky ?? but one of the Goodies DID flesh out a simple, structured plan to scale the business by 370%.

Growth comes from the 1% shifts often, replicated prayerfully over time - like a waterfall.

We crafted manageable tweaks on

# of customers,

# of purchases and

% margin line by line to create a 370% growth plan that we will execute as a trio - God, me and the legend that he is.

The beauty about this was that is was growing in such a way that wouldn’t break his health or his relationship in the process.

And on top of all of this I get to journey with my clients, as pilgrims and friends.

I get to share the coolest parts of the journey and walk with them through the rest.

It’s an honour.

This is the formula I follow to help clients launch and grow a business with God at the centre

• ???? - The Lord’s Prayer is ‘Our father’, not my father.? Seek praying friends and pray together
• ????-?Who knows you?? Like REALLY knows you.? Seek fellow travellers who know your heart.
• ??- Money loves Momentum. What actions do you take every working day to attract cash?

#2 -?Daily Eucharist- there is a small chapel in my village and I get down most days to pray with others.? Faith is so much sweeter when lived with others!
