So why is our knowledge worth more than most people would think it is??
I know you're going to take this away immediately are going to use it in everything you do.
There are 3 different ways we share what we know…
If you'd prefer to watch the video - click here
1. WHY - it is important to know a particular piece of information
2. WHAT:
What's the method?
What's the technique?
What's the idea?
What's the knowledge?
What's the information?
3. HOW
Now, here is the big secret I've learned over 30 years of sharing my knowledge, my experience, my expertise.
“The ideas, methods, systems, thoughts, techniques, ways, and means that you believe are totally obvious and known to everyone are in fact completely obscure, unnoticed, misunderstood, misperceived and mysterious to the vast majority of people, and isn't that good news?”
Why is it good news??
It means we can double and triple and quadruple our output.
Because if we are only going to be sharing the ideas we believe are the top skills, then we are going to limit what we share.
Whereas, so much of the stuff that we know; we just take for granted because we've been doing it so long. And we are pretty reasonable at doing what we do, we just think everybody knows it, and they don't.?
Let me give an example…
Many years ago, I met Paulette Ensign.?
Pauline is known as the Tips Booklet Queen. She is based in New York, but was in the UK. I went to see her and interviewed her.?
She has an excellent tips booklet on how to be more effective. And in this tips booklet, Paulette mentions using a do-list.?
I asked Paulette, “How can you put something as obvious as a ‘Do List’ in there? Doesn't everybody use, or at least know how to use a do-list?"?
And she said, "Yes, but they don't use it."?
And I've tested this:
I've asked the question in seminars across the world;
"Do you know the idea of using a do-list?"?
And people put their hands up TO SAY, “Yes”. Then I say, "Keep your hands up if you use a Do List," and half the hands go down.?
I then say, "Keep your hands up if you use the double prioritisation method with your Do List," (which is really how do-lists work) and most of the hands go down.
There is so much that you and I know that we can share with people.?
You will have seen (as I have) webinars, where the vast majority of the content is why and what, and very little how.?
Now I don't know about you, but as a delegate, I get very frustrated when people are not sharing the real stuff with me.?
So, here is the secret I've learned…
If you teach people ‘why and what’ - you will get paid.?
But if you teach people ‘HOW’, you'll get wealthy!

Because:
People want the ‘step by step actions’ to take in order to get the outcomes they want.
So let me live up to the promise and give you an idea…
How do you write a book??
I've have a book called ‘How to Write a Book for your Business in just 10 weeks.’?
I wrote this book in 80 minutes, not 80 weeks, not 80 hours, but 80 minutes, and I'll tell you how I did it.?
So, I did a lot of preparation and I ran a webinar on how to write a book.?
I ran the webinar, it was 80 minutes long.?
I had the webinar recorded.?
I then had the recording transcribed.
It was about 14,500 words.?
My PA, Rachel and I went through it and edited it down to about 12,000 words, and from there, it became a typical 60+ page book.?
That is the process.?
You take what you know, and how you do what you do, and then you share it with people.?
Your knowledge becomes valuable when you show people the ‘step by step way’?
Now is there a pay wall??
Of course there is.?
You and I go out to the marketplace and we share our knowledge, our experience, our expertise, for free.?
We share it on social media for free.
We do webinars for free.?
Why??
Because we are demonstrating to people, "I know good stuff."?
And at some stage in our relationship, those people will pass through the pay wall, and start to pay us.?
But, if we only ever show why and what, they think, "No, I've seen it before."
I'm sure you can take this idea away and use it in your business. I've been using it in mine for 30 years.?
It absolutely works.?
I'll repeat the idea for you:
“The ideas, methods, systems, thoughts, techniques, ways and means you believe are totally obvious, known to everyone are in fact completely obscure, unnoticed, misunderstood, misperceived, and mysterious to the vast majority of people.”
So please take those ideas away and use them.?
They absolutely do work.?
I wish you every success in all your adventures in life as you use these ideas and make a difference in the world, and build for yourself a business and a life of choice.?
