So what's next?

My last newsletter certainly put the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons.
If you are new to the party or want a refresher, you can read all about it here .
So many of you asked for a copy of my Values Exercise and I was gobsmacked by the number of people who took the time to tell me how useful they found the exercise.??
Of course, this makes my heart sing.
The next question that pops into my head is “So what?”
Not in a surly-teenager kind of way (I am a professional coach after all.)? If we were in a coaching session, the “so what?” questions would go a little something like this:
So what does this mean?
So what are you going to do with the information?
So what happens next?
I hate it when people have a mini epiphany then do nothing with it.? It’s like you’ve undergone a series of tests to confirm you are gluten intolerant and now need to figure out how to replace the sandwich in your Tesco Meal Deal.??
You don’t know where to start, so you sit down for a 1:1 with a nutritionist to talk through your concerns, to dispel any myths and to figure out what to do next (there’s that pesky “So what?” question rearing its head again!).
The thing about values is that they are so important I also refer to them as “Critical Needs”.??
They can change significantly over the course of your life which is why it’s so important to ensure that you are 100% conscious about what they are so that you can better understand how you can consistently meet these (or not).
Since your values are closely linked to your sense of career satisfaction, your most important values need to be fulfilled and should always play an important role in your career planning.?
So what are you going to do next, now that you are armed with this information?
You might choose to have a conversation with your nearest and dearest, you could also choose to have a conversation with a coach (hello ??).??
I’m not taking on VIP clients right now, what I am doing instead is opening up my diary for 60 Minute Turbo Coaching Calls.
This is you and me, on Zoom for an hour doing a deep dive into everything that you have unearthed during the exercise (or anything else you would like to go deep on).? Be present and ready to answer all those questions you’ve been avoiding answering for so long.? I’ll hold your feet to the fire (in a good way) and call you out on your own BS.??
If you feel like dipping your toe in the proverbial coaching water, then you can book and pay for a session right here .??
Until next time
Jane
