So, what are we doing today?
As marketing people for a large event center, what does our ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ daily activity look like as we navigate through this time? After all, the premise of our job is to bring people together. The Town Toyota Centers sales and marketing team have been working from home since March 16. Here are a few things we are doing to retain connections:
1. Revised Messaging Plan: New marketing and social media messaging plan was written Friday, March 13. New messaging of how we can help and ‘we care’ versus selling for the next concert/event.
2. Feature A Daily Business: Highlight and message to the public about “who’s open”. We share their videos, public message or status. We are their marketing advocates.
3. Arena Transformed: Serve Wenatchee is using the arena as a canned food storage warehouse. The Town Toyota Center has become the central hub to for food distribution boxes. Daily photos and information are shared with the public.
4. Learning New Skills: The marketing team learned new apps to stay connected. Zoom and Marco Polo are now in our tool kit. Prior to ‘Stay Home, Stay Healthy’ order, the staff did not use either app. The time has allowed us to explore a new way to connect online and explore business that we didn’t have time for in our daily hustle.
If you would like to have our marketing team share your message or need marketing assistance free of charge during this time, please contact me, Jennifer Bushong, VP [email protected]. We are happy to help. #ttccares #ttcfamily
