This was so tough... ??

I can’t even begin to explain how tough this was...

And... you would never have known...

7 years ago I was made redundant.? This hit me very hard.? I had just returned from this family holiday.? Nothing prepares you... ?? I then found myself at a crossroads.

I was torn.? Should I remain on the same path, or should I try something new.? My mind was constantly wondering... I had NO IDEA which way to turn??? This period lasted for 4 long years!!! It was the most challenging thing I had ever experienced.? It also took a huge toll on my wife and children....

What I haven’t shared, is that during this period, I had my mind set on 2 big corporate roles.? I got down to the last 2 for both.? On one occasion, I was even introduced to the team... When I was then turned down, this hit me very very hard.???

Looking back, I am now so grateful for these experiences.??I was initially going after roles, because this is what I had always done - it was what was expected.

These experiences, inspired me to do what I do today - To help individuals to achieve true professional fulfilment. ??
