This pandemic has taught me so much
I take a pledge to learn from everyone, every interaction, every situation
So this teacher’s day, I take a pledge that I will keep my eyes and ears open and learn from everyone (#LearnFromEveryone). Every opportunity I will have, to meet with anyone going forward, I will try to learn from them. I will NOT be using my smartphone and checking my emails & social media posts. I will genuinely appreciate the opportunity to learn about the other person and talk to him/her while I am
Things can wait
I could be anywhere or I could be doing anything. It doesn't matter. As long as there is someone to talk to, I will not use my smartphone/Laptop. Things can wait…
I will voluntarily initiate the conversation and keep it going. It will give me so much perspective/worldview of others. It would help me learn social skills. More importantly, it would help me to become a better version of myself.
I can always check the mails/phone when am alone…meeting with people & conversing with them is precious (which I realized in this pandemic) and I will not waste that time doing some "alone" activity.
these are more important to me than ever.?

It’s my team in the picture
I get to learn and get inspired every day from my team #TEXAcademy.?Picture in the header is the one we took when we went for a movie together before the pandemic. Thank you, team, #TEXAcademy. I cannot wait to go out with you again???.
The most noble thing that we can do
Giving time for others is the noblest thing that we can do; it is a mark of respect
Have you seen someone, rather than talking to the person sitting next to them, reading a book on “how to start a conversation?”. That was me???
Have you seen someone glued to their smartphones/laptops and never bothered about what’s going on in their surroundings? I was one among them, but not anymore. (I missed a flight once while I was in a deep conversation in a conference call???. I will write about this incident later).?
Do you agree?
Do you agree that we have a lot to learn from each other? Do you agree that we should use every opportunity to connect with people? What was your experience? What is your advice?
Looking forward to your views, comments & feedback
