A not so successful case study

A not so successful case study

Transcript:

hello and welcome to another edition of one Blast Away

?

let's talk about a not so successful case study

?

this time. most people tell you all about their wins

?

but nothing about the losses

?

and let's be honest we all have some

?

before we get into it

?

we'll have these failures in our portfolio

?

which we may not advertise as often

?

but we definitely learn from them the most

?

and anyone who says otherwise

?

is lying.

?

This client came to me with an idea for a play

?

Play to Earn game

?

they wanted to build a game about endangered animals

?

?

and donate

?

percentage of the proceeds to organizations

?

working towards the cause

?

I knew in my gut that it wasn't the right time for it

?

they didn't have enough budget to make it happen

?

and it wasn't developed enough to get traction

?

my mistake I took the project anyway

?

I should have said no from the very beginning

?

as we started marketing I realized what I already knew

?

it was a mess nothing was working

?

we had no traction they had no spend budget

?

and they didn't know how to work as a team

?

sometimes

?

it's not about whether you can market something or not

?

?

it's about whether you should

?

hope this was helpful if so

?

subscribe to the newsletter

?

or share this with a friend

?

who might find it interesting see you next week

?

I totally agree with you and sometimes they tend to blame us because of bad results but we knew that it isn't just about marketing.
