The Will To Stay Alive!

Ghost Writer | I Help Small Businesses and Creatives Do Big Things From a Small Place with Great Content Writing ?? | STORYTELLER Every brand/ executive has a great story that can transform lives and generate leads.
As much as there are a million reasons not to live in this cruel world there are also a million reasons to live and not just that but tell our stories.
One thing I could never really explain or imagine was the community that came with owning a book club, it's beautiful to see them share their opinions and perspectives on a book in a whole new way, that makes you marvel.
So i and my book club members are currently reading ''Diary of a CEO by Steven Bartlett
In Law 11, he shared a story about Aron Ralston who went solo mountain biking, while finding his way around the mountain he mistakenly dislodged an 800-pound rock which crushed his right hand and he got stuck. i could imagine the pain he was feeling and the sad part was no one knew he was there nor did he take a cell phone with him. I thought he would die there but what he did shocked me.
After several days of struggling to free himself he took a bold step to cut off his right hand that was trapped! According to him, he was over the pain and fear but couldn't get over his body's need for water. So he went ahead to use his pocket knife to cut off his hand and once he was done he stood up and walked, luckily for him he found other tourists who took him to safety.
That was indeed a bold move, because staying five days with a hand trapped under such weight was definitely painful and I could have thought how much hope he had lost, why not stop trying and just wait for death to envelope him.
That was definitely the will to live and guess what he wrote a book!
Who wouldn't have? lol and in his book he said ''Perhaps the strangest thing is that i didn't feel pain from the injury- so many things were wrong with my circumstances that it wasn't important enough to warrant my brain's attention''

This life we live is more than us, we literally have to remember that we have? a responsibility to also cater to others through our story, life and resources. I believe that’s how Aron saw that situation. He probably thought to himself, ‘’It's better to live with one arm than die with a wrong narrative or without a trace.’’ I mean this experience is too real to not be told!
?That story definitely motivated me to think ‘’What situation could be so hard that my only choice would be to bow to it instead of fighting it head on till i overcome?’’
Don’t die with an untold story, tell it in whatever form you can through a podcast, a speech, a book, your social media post, newsletters, etc…
Do you know that stories like this could help in creating your personal brand? Anyone that hears Aron’s story will always remember him as the man who was determined to live, The courageous guy and if he ever thought to create a brand where he inspires and motivates people through his content they will surely listen because he has told his story.
Words don't come alive until there is experience involved. You have the experience already all you have to do is tell it to a ghostwriter and let them craft a constant and strong message that stands your brand out everytime you show up online.
Tell it while you are alive. There are lives which could be transformed if only you show up and share your story.
Happy New Month and Cheers to a blessed October.
Don’t forget to book your 1:1 call with me to discuss your personal brand and how i can help you ghostwrite your written content excellently

5 个月What a powerful reflection! Your thoughts on storytelling and the importance of sharing our experiences really resonate. Aron Ralston's story is a vivid reminder of resilience and the human spirit’s capacity to fight against overwhelming odds. It’s incredible how he transformed a life-threatening situation into a narrative that inspires others. Your book club sounds like a wonderful space for exploring these themes, and I love how you emphasize that we all have stories worth telling. Each person's journey can touch lives and create connections.? The idea of using experiences to build a personal brand is spot on. Authentic stories have the power to engage and inspire, making us more relatable. It’s a great call to action for others to share their narratives, whether through writing, speaking, or social media. Happy October to you too! Here’s to more storytelling and inspiration in the coming month. If you ever want to brainstorm ideas for your personal brand or discuss the power of storytelling further, feel free to reach out!
