So much more than just another Student Loan Management Company

So let me explain how much I love doing what I do. I have to thank Sonjia for telling people to reach out to me to get help on their student loans. Yes, it’s a business and Yes I want to make money. But for me, it’s so much more than that. Last week I spoke to over 25 women regarding their student loan debt. Here’s what I discovered:

·      The person with the highest balance owes $500,000. Yes, Half a Million.

·      The person with the lowest balance owes $11,000. And yes, she was still stressed over the debt.

·      I calculated the largest amount of forgiveness to be $435,560 (so I’m sure she is pretty excited about that).

The funniest statement was someone who said, “I don’t want to ever pay off my student loans. This is part of my reparations”. Haha, I ain't even mad at this logic!

1 person scheduled their call with me on their birthday because they were deciding to not let another year go by without tackling their debt.

I spoke to women who went to cool schools like Princeton, Yale, and Harvard. ****Fun Fact: One amazing woman went to all 3!

The saddest story was a woman whose Mom had recently passed due to just not being able to handle the stress of all of the debt and responsibilities she had and now this young lady is taking care of a younger sibling.

The sweetest story was a woman whose medium told her that her love was coming and her chocolate love showed up. Yesssss Hunny. Claim your man!

Oh, and the best news of the day was a wonderful young lady whose husband beat cancer!!!

So Yes this is work for me but I’m telling you it’s so much more. These are People. Amazing People. With amazing, unique, hectic, crazy, fun lives. And if I can come in and help them alleviate just one burden in the midst of all the crazy, I have lived a fulfilling, successful life!!!
