So many posts, so little investment
What would Taylor Swift think of this? She moves our economy for the better.

So many posts, so little investment

In 2023, there were over 30 billion social media impressions about #International Women's Day, according to Sprout Social, Inc. . In 2024, the Year of the Girl, the number will undoubtedly exceed that. Yet has this engagement led to any action?

Women improve performance

On #IWD2024, Zacks Investment Management published an article, "Here is why you should invest in women-led companies with ETFs", with the compelling arguments: women led companies (i) increase diversity, (ii) improve risk management, (iii) magnify market insight, (iv) augment shareholder value, and (v) elevate employee satisfaction and retention. Sounds great.

Investing in women is now easy with ETFs

Yet, the four ETFs mentioned, SHE, WOMN, WCEO ETF and EQUL have less assets under management (AUM) as a group, only $290 million in total, than DRLL alone, the anti-ESG ETF launched by Vivek Ramaswamy , whose firm, Strive crossed the $1 billion mark in AUM last year.

While women proved the power of the purse to drive economic growth with the Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, Greta Gerwig's Barbie and Beyonce's Renaissance, women have not shown up at scale to let corporate America know, "We want more women in leadership."

Wake up Wall Street

The easiest and fastest way to have Wall Street and corporate America take notice is with our investment dollars. The Wall Street Journal and CNBC could not stop talking about the Year of the Girl phenomena. Imagine if women started investing intentionally in women in leadership?

Why not give society something to talk about by investing in women at scale? Making a statement in a SoFi or Charles Schwab account by buying a share of each of these ETFs, would cost a total of approximately $190 at today's quotes.

If women focused ETFs had $190 of investments for each of the 10+ million posts about #IWD24, we would surpass Vivek and the anti- crowd at DRLL by 5x. Will you join in? Please tag #IInvestInWomen to energize the momentum we know is building. Be a part of it!

@patricia 100% aligned with our work at Radivision - especially our March special programming on exactly this topic (https://radivision.com/sheconomics) Headlining is research data from EVERY study concluding with higher results for women-included teams compared to non-diverse teams . If the investing is truly data-driven, then women-lead or -included would be receiving 98% of the funding - not 2%. Clearly there are both unconscious women's superpowers and biases behind the facts in this area. Thank you for your work delivering more consciousness - and prosperity!
