So Many Personal and Emotional Posts from Professionals

We're starting to see how there is such a high level of disconnection everywhere in the business world. It's like all the parts of the system no longer know how to communicate or function together. Even if someone is really good hiring material, these days there are a million other things that can impact whether or not they will actually be hired for the job/s they are applying for - many of which have nothing to do with the actual applicant.

Talented Professionals Looking for Work ... for Many Months

Seeing these very personal and emotional posts from serious professionals here on LinkedIn is really heartbreaking. This latest update from Tessa Jenkins, MBA that starts off with her saying "This post is going to be a bit more personal than usual, so bare with me. I’m tired." And of course it goes on to describe her endless job search. The good news is she did the right thing - she shared with the network, and the network is giving her some amazing support. So far her post has been shared over 650 times! I wish everyone in her position could get that kind of support.

Single Moms and Medical Emergencies

Another far more insane situation is our LinkedIn community rallying around single Mom Kelsey Kaminky with two beautiful kids who has to pay crazy medical bills to deal with her cancer. Thankfully our hero Nate Randle set up a GoFundMe campaign for her here:

Kelsey Kaminky has to be the bravest single Mom on the planet to share her whole journey here - proof that there is no end to a mother's love for her kids:

My Commentary

If we step back for a moment to look at ourselves, it seems like we're moving further and further away from each other, and this is a global trend. This is a huge problem for us. Why? According to the law of development, we're supposed to be getting closer to each other. That's actually our purpose.

So we can see very clearly how as the gaps between these two states continue to grow, the suffering and the necessity to change will grow along with them.

We can always choose to either continue on the path of suffering, or agree to go towards a general change.

And this is where we come into the picture. Because we can always choose to either continue on the path of suffering, or agree to go towards a general change.

So it turns out that the only creature on the entire planet that has been given the right to choose, or in other words, control over its own destiny, is man.

Long story short is what I'm always saying - the ball is still in our hands. We can continue playing games around things like honor and money as a goal. Or we can seek out the power of a new goal that will take man and the whole world to a higher level of development.

Ultimately it is our choice to determine the quality of our life we want for ourselves, or leave it to blind fate. Right now we're on the latter path.
