So many Coming to the U.S.

Many people have been coming to the U.S. Our nation is made up of immigrants, and the majority have come in legally and have become U.S. citizens. Our nation has been a nation of laws and has Federal officers standing watch by enforcing immigration laws and arresting those who cross illegally. Most presidents have had strong immigration policies until recently, since 2020. We have a catch-and-release policy to allow people to cross the border. Many are fleeing from oppressive governments. Socialist governments, communist governments, and dictators.??? Other people are escaping oppression for their religion and economic hardship. Many seek a better way of life, but open borders have caused a crisis in which many border towns cannot handle the mass entry of people coming to the U.S., causing a strain on our medical systems, emergency medical service response, social services, and housing.
The inflation, higher cost of food, higher cost of products, and higher cost of hire for services are reducing Americans' power to buy. With the higher cost of rent and high house prices, people are losing their homes because of the high cost all around and the increased rent prices. Just on December 15, 2023, homelessness has surged to 12 percent. We have enough homeless Americans; adding homeless undocumented immigrants is adding to the high levels of homelessness, and it is going to increase if Title 42 is removed. According to ABC News reporter Alexandra Hutzler in an interview with Texas Governor Greg Abbot, if the courts allow the ending of Title 42. "Governor Greg Abbott says end of Title 42 will bring chaos," to expel people coming over illegally public health risk.
No one can blame people for running away from their country because of high crime, lack of work opportunities, and fleeing from oppressive governments such as socialists, communists, and dictators. We are fleeing from religious persecution or political persecution, but we have internal problems, like loss of jobs, high rent, high food prices, and high prices for products and services. Even though crime is increasing in the United States, the U.S. is changing. As many people want to enter the U.S. illegally or illegally, our economic stability is becoming unstable. Many homeless Americans feel and believe that undocumented immigrants are being served much better, but this is not the case. San Antonio Migrant Resource Center is being overwhelmed, and many who do not have proper documents must wait and live on the streets close to the center. I was at a Walmart store on Bandera Road and ran into several undocumented aliens roaming the Walmart parking lot begging for money. There were about eleven individuals, and some had one child.
I asked two of them why they were begging and not at the center, and both men said they had to wait in line to go into the center, and standing in very long lines does not guarantee getting any food or help. I asked the men where they were from. Both men stated they were from Venezuela. I even ran into three men shopping at HEB Grocery number 4 store on Nogalitos Street; the men were from Venezuela and were working on construction. I met a man at a job career center who was trying to work construction and could not get a construction job for $15 to $20 per hour. The problem the man at the job center had was that he needed a job that pays at least $15 per hour and could not find that job. He said construction companies have hired people from other countries at $12 per hour. So, the man at the job center is applying for job training to become a professional commercial driver. Many of the men I met from Venezuela are pulling their resources and money to live in an apartment; at least four to five men share the same apartment to afford the high rent. People are pouring into the U.S. for economic and political reasons and to have a brighter future.
