This SO MADE MY DAY!!!

This SO MADE MY DAY!!!

I HAVE to share

Earlier this week on Monday, I saw a Davenport Police car in a parking lot by NorthPark Mall.

I drove over to the car and (keeping my social distance) rolled down my window, and he did the same.

I explained to him that our local police have been on my mind, as I know that with the virus, they are exposed to it more than others, and asked him how he was dealing with that.

His response was SO GOOD.

He told me that his job is always dangerous. He knows and accepts that. There is currently a new danger, with the virus, but he plans to deal with it rationally – continuing to do his job to keep the community safe.

And here’s where it gets REALLY GOOD

He also shared with me that he is a man of FAITH, and that he loves the Lord, and because of that, he has peace with whatever is going on.

I thanked him for what he is doing, and let him know that he will be in my prayers.

I hope we can all be doing that: being rational, being safe, praying for others, having a peace in the Lord. And I hope we choose to be collaborative, instead of confrontational.

I REALLY wish I had gotten his name – he definitely made (and is making) a positive impact!

My THANKS to all of the people who are keeping our lives safe and manageable throughout this challenging time. YOU ARE APPRECIATED!

Hope we can all share stuff like this!
