On a 1-10 scale (1 being I hate my job, and 10 being I’m 100% there), how devoted are you to what you’re doing right now? How much do you truly care about it?

Do you feel like you WANT to do it, you’re driven, thinking about it, can’t wait to dive in in the morning???(In other words, it’s definitely NOT a slog, difficult, or mentally exhausting?)Does your work fire you up?

Do you start your day thinking, “Let’s gooooo!” and “This is the kind of mental challenge I live for”?

Sit with your answer.~~~ And get REALLY HONEST with yourself. Because far too many people leave their potential for service, mastery, creativity, and devotion WILDLY unexplored because they never challenge themselves to find and stretch their capacity for finding and DOING a CRAFT they LOVE.~~~

→ Would you want a surgeon who was all, “Ugh, I don’t want to go to work TODAY”?

→ Or a lawyer fighting an important case for you that wasn’t really into it? Who just wanted to get paid and go home? Of course not.

And if you don’t want to live in a world full of professionals who don’t love their work, why would you want to BE a professional who doesn’t love their work? Why would you get a job you’re not really that into yourself?

People forget that this life is not supposed to be wasted doing things we don’t TRULY love.You know what is NOT noble?

?Wasting time working hours and hours in a place you do not want to be.

? Thinking you have no choice when you REALLY DO.
