So give equity a huge embrace
Today we celebrate the incredible achievements of women all around the world, including our own wonderful colleagues. This year's theme, Embrace Equity, highlights the importance of recognising the differences between equity and equality and why equity is critical to achieving true inclusion and belonging. It's not just about giving everyone the same opportunities, but about understanding that we may start from different places and need different resources to reach an equal outcome. The university sector has much to do in this regard.
