Short version: Looking for a highly organized people loving person that will bring our unique, locally produced, dairy products to life for local retailers.

Long version: There's nothing quite like being a part of something special. We've all heard the stories of people who were in the right place, at the right time, to take advantage of an amazing opportunity. This is one of those times. Chaeban Ice Cream was about to go out of business this spring with lines of credit maxed out from a long cold winter and the usual spring cash flow cancelled by COVID.  Instead we doubled down on connecting with retailers to sell our premium, made from scratch, ice cream and we launched an online ice cream subscription.  Both have been a great success and not only helped us survive, but have made us stronger than before.  We have gone from trendy ice cream spot to a successful manufacturer.

We need someone to help us cement what we have created.  This person will build strong personal connections with the retailers selling our products and make sure that we do everything we can to ensure their success.

We're looking for an exceptional integrator type person to help continue our growth story. Reporting directly to Joseph Chaeban, the Ice Cream Ambassador will lead the day-to-day support of our retailers. This person is super organized and loves exceeding people’s expectations.  Could this be you or someone you know? About us

Chaeban Ice Cream is a multi  award winning company that makes exceptional premium ice cream from scratch and from local ingredients whenever possible.  We were founded to combine Joseph Chaeban’s love of dairy production with the needs of his wife Zainab Ali’s family to have meaningful work in Canada after escaping the Syrian civil war.  The City of Winnipeg rallied around us and we have felt the love and felt at home ever since.  Now we are trying to give back by creating more employment in Winnipeg and displacing boring corporate products on retail shelves with locally produced higher quality products.  All made with love.

We care about:

• reducing waste in the world; that is why we sell our ice cream in returnable glass instead of plastic.
• people more than money;  that is why we deliver our products with our own staff making good wages.  
• local food economies;  that is why we pasteurize fresh milk from a single source farm and use many local ingredients in our products.
• making things from scratch, not opening containers for everything;  that is why we hand make everything we can, including the caramel for our top seller Salty Carl.

Nitty Gritty

• $19 an hour to start, near or full time, with flexible hours and flexible work location.
• Free ice cream part of the deal.
• You come to us with your own vehicle to travel about Winnipeg.
