Don't you just love it when "experts" contradict themselves?
Funeral plans in the UK always put the clients' money in EITHER an Independent Trust OR with a REGULATED insurance company.
So how much does trhe client lose if the COMPANY goes bust?
Pretty much NOTHING as their money isn't held by the funeral plan company!
Incidentally, one VERY major provider has just radically overhauled its wildly unfair t+cs after we complained. We have asked them if they will apply the new, better, terms to existing clients!
