When was the last time you took a long walk during a snowfall, just because?
I woke up this morning with the idea of a long walk on my mind. Snowfall began a lot sooner than expected but I decided to head out anyway, and WOW! There's is something about a long walk in the snow that can spark nostalgia; reminiscing of those days when, as a child, you played in the snow with kids in the neighborhood having snowball fights and nearly frozen fingertips. My walk also blessed me with an opportunity to have some me and my God time; prayer and meditation. Yup, it was one of those simple things-a gift of life, which required nothing more than being present in the moment.
As I occasionally do, I sparked up a stogie for the walk, an occasional puff here and there along the way. 2.5 miles later now home I am remarkably rejuvenated finding myself feeling grateful for the simple things; affirming life, no matter seemingly insurmountable storms, it always offers silver linings...when one becomes intentional about defining their day. Ultimately, this is a choice one makes. And, it is a choice that can be made each and every day.
#GetIntenionalAboutLiving within the moment and no matter where you may be, no matter what one's circumstance, or, where you find yourself; whether the temporary state of pain-filled times you can find joy if you choose to make some joy. Peace and love y'all. Make it a great day, or, the best day ever! You only have one life to live and it will never come again so live it well. Share some good and positivity along the way.
Cheers!
