The snow is (almost) all gone in my small town

That is of course until we get more snow after this "false spring weather"

We have a puppy, which means a lot of walking and training on a lead. Fortunately, we live in a small town between Ottawa and Kingston and that gives us paths, parks and wide open spaces to explore. The perfect opportunity to continue to sharpen the photography saw while teaching our puppy to be patient.

As the snow melts away it also allows full views of buildings and other structures without the leaves from trees obscuring the views.

This also lends itself to dramatic black & white interpretations.

Which, I think, may come across as a bit stark and possibly dystopian but, for my personal work, I like this gritty reality.

And the use of a perspective control T/S lens to keep lines straight and select the focal point of the images in-camera.
