That Snooze Button

This morning I woke up and frankly if we’re being honest I stayed up a little too late for most of the week so when Friday morning came around needless to say I had felt better. Trust me when I tell you it would have been very easy to snooze my alarm and just sleep in for the morning. I mean after all if I wasn't running optimally I should’ve gone back to bed right?
Wrong!
I knew that I had a busy day ahead filled with all sorts of things meant to enhance my business and enhance the lives of others through culture. I had meetings to help others improve their culture, meetings with my own team members to make sure things were firing on all cylinders and I was delivering an intentional culture to my team members.?
I had all these things lined up and I told myself that there was no way I was going to miss the opportunity to better myself, my culture, and the everyone I was set to meet with.
At the end of the day, if it’s important to you then you will find a way. If it isn’t important to you, you’ll make an excuse.
The next time that alarm goes off and you’re ready to hit snooze, think about what that means for you. Think about whether the reason you have to get up is truly important to you, or if it isn’t.?
You’ll be able to tell based on whether or not you come up with an excuse to hit that snooze button and go back to bed.
Give that some thought and have a great rest of the week.
