The snooze button is a feature on most alarm clocks and smartphones that allows you to delay the alarm for a few minutes. When you hit the snooze button, the alarm will go off again after a preset amount of time (usually 5-10 minutes), giving you a few extra minutes of sleep. For instance, Serwaa is a busy working mom who hits the snooze button every morning. She thinks she's getting a few additional minutes of sleep, but she's interrupting her sleep cycle and waking up feeling groggy and tired. She's also always rushed in the morning, which makes her feel stressed and frazzled throughout the day. Kwame is a college student who hits the snooze button multiple times before finally getting out of bed. He thinks he's getting a few extra minutes of sleep, but he's making himself more tired and less productive. He often skips breakfast and arrives late to class, which impacts his grades and overall performance.

I understood everything in this article but I just wasn’t happy with Dr. Dennis asking me to wake up without snoozing my alarm. I called him immediately, and he taught me this trick. He said to count 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 when the alarm clock goes off then straight out of bed. I’m going to move my wake up time to 15 mins later and try this tomorrow morning ??????
