Albertans are blessed to be living in this beautiful land of rugged mountain peaks, dense arboreal forests, magnificent lakes, roaring rivers, amazing badlands, pastoral valleys, and everything in between. It is good that there are many places to explore and to get that spirit of wanderlust satisfied.

It is good that the major population centers here are not one continuous mass of urban sprawl. The country lies beyond the city's borders where the welcomed respite of beautiful scenery is abundant.

The country with all its natural wonders is a playground of the mind, releasing the tensions from the daily stresses of life. It is the natural release valve to all the pressures that have been built up during the week! It is the natural power source that recharges one's batteries and revitalizes the soul!

Have a beautiful Heritage Day long weekend. May you all come out of this refreshed!
