Sneak preview of my book on Ethan, James, and Jennifer Crumbley
It never fails to amaze me how the drawings completed in 1901 by Pamela Colman Smith as Pictorial Representations of Number Vibrations hold even today in our evolving world. I have made a study of linguistics as they appertain to today's evolving language: modern terms like "active shooter" which describes a person running amok with a hand gun or military style hardware in a school or shopping mall, theatre, or other place we frequent temporarily, for work, study or leisure, but which is not our home.
I think I understand and relate to the work of Pamela Colman Smith since I was born Pamela Lillian Smith. The great visionary theatre artist, Jamaican by birth, lived in England and died 18 September 1951 (age 73?years), Bude, United Kingdom . She was a member of the Order of the Golden Dawn, an esoteric group who met and exchanged information at a time in history when they were persecuted for their beliefs by the Christian churches and laws of the land, when church and state was one and the same, indivisible. Not much has changed, I am here to tell you. I am still struggling to gain acceptance and recognition for my work, which is not only unique, but valuable in many fields, particularly in the area of forensic science. My progress is hampered by religious prejudice.
Above is the Pictorial Symbolism for the Number 61. Positively expressed, it represents the lawyer, perhaps visiting his client in prison, taking his brief to and from the courts he attends each day. It rules places of temporary abode, caravansarai, caravan life, tent life and camping out, or places you visit regularly, like shopping malls, churches, schools, kindergartens, colleges, universities. Places which might seem to be like a home away from home to you because of their familiarity and your frequent attendance there.
It also negatively represents the thief, stealing and sneaking away, wondering whether he was seen, perhaps wondering whether he should have taken more. Linguistically, I have discovered the modern, recently developed term "active shooter" has a 61 vibration in the English language. The word "perpetrator" also carries the 61 Number vibration. Despite the fact that this picture was drawn in 1901, it does seem to portray graphically the mass murderer who sometimes dishonestly obtains his arsenal of weapons, often through theft and dishonest dealings, then takes his arsenal to public places where he commits carnage, then leaves stealthily, looking behind him to see if he is being followed by the law.
In the case of 15 year old Ethan Crumbley, he took the gun (which was his own, having been irresponsibly given to him by his father for Christmas), from an unlocked drawer, (which was against the law), went out almost immediately and killed 4 of his peers, wounded a teacher and 6 other students.
