SNBTS Medical Director

Scottish National Blood Transfusion Service (SNBTS) has a job vacancy for a Medical Director. This is a challenging and highly rewarding position; providing professional leadership, direction and line management to the senior SNBTS Medical and Clinical Scientist staff, responsible for ensuring the sufficiency, quality and safety of blood, cell and tissue supply and demonstrating a determination to place donors and patients at the centre of SNBTS’s work. The Medical Director will play a key role in ensuring effective and productive relationships with key external stakeholders including NHS Scotland colleagues, Scottish Government, UK Blood Services and other professional bodies.
