SNAP or DRILL?

Do customers really care if you SNAP or DRILL?
?
Sometimes snapping or drilling might be the very best method of gaining entry.? It’s certainly the best way of getting in quickly & gaining a higher ‘mark-up’ or profit margin due to the extra time spent to replace the lock & possibly the handle-set & then there’s of course, there’s the extra keys for everyone & the dog, but WHO’S IT BEST FOR -You or the customer??
?
Even if your customer doesn’t know what the difference is, (they’re getting more savvy) you might have a 3 star, ‘Sold Secure’ British Standard cylinder staring back at you which, certainly WILL NOT allow you to DRILL or SNAP with ease!
?
And before you all rush in & answer, think a little more before you do!? What if the ‘boot was on the other foot’ & it was you, or indeed, your frail mother or worse still, your little old grandmother, who’s not only a widow, she’s on a very small war pension, is a bit dithery & can’t see very well, and asks you to help yourself out of her purse?? Would you still DRILL rather than pick, would you still SNAP rather than use alternative damage free measures; WE HOPE NOT!???
?
When all’s said and done, there will undoubtedly be times when you need to drill or snap, but it shouldn’t be the first option, it should be your very last; let me say that AGAIN; IT SHOULD BE YOUR VERY LAST OPTION.
