SMS APPS INNOVATION DAY | A GREAT SUCCESS

As part of SMS’s continued commitment to helping clients understand the power of Salesforce, SMS hosted our first Salesforce Apps Innovation day and it was a great success!

The day started with an overview of Salesforce and in particular App Cloud. The majority of delegates had never touched Salesforce before and the general understanding was that Salesforce is just a CRM.

Mike from Salesforce did a great job at demonstrating that Salesforce is much more and explained the power of the platform and the development options from no code on the Apps cloud to all code by using Heroku to build engaging web and mobile apps.

We kicked off with a quick Design Thinking session, where our delegates identified who their apps is for, what they love, pain points and an outline of their app ideas. 

Some great ideas were pulled together, including an app to speed up the JP process, and a car-pool management solution. and here are the videos

The session was facilitated by SMS' Design Thinking team... and there was definitely some intense thinking!

At the end of the day, teams presented their apps and the winners were chosen! Congratulations to all of the winners on the day!
