Will Smith & Chris Rock.

Incident tore apart the globe in 2 halves.

I might sound wrong, but I am in complete support of Will Smith.

Consider yourself into the shoe of Will Smith where your wife is suffering from medical condition (alopecia). You are already emotionally and physically drained to cope up with this situation specially being in show biz. ?

And then out of the blue, one guy (Chris Rock) comes on stage and in name of being funny, he mocks your wife medical condition in front of world without being empathetic about it.

What would you do in such scenario?

YES:

1.??????I will allow to do so as I am civilised and I don’t want to embarrass him, myself & my family.

2.??????Its his profession, and me being professional should respect other’s profession too.

3.??????Since everybody is laughing, I should also go with the flow and laugh it off.

4.??????Even though I react, the word has been spelled & damage has been done. So no point in dragging.

5.??????I cant handle this embarrassment in public but I will surely handle my wife in private.

NO:

1.??????I am civilised but at the same time brave enough to stand up for my better half.

2.??????Yor profession doesn’t gives you freedom to fun about my personal life.

3.??????Though everybody is laughing, still, Right is right & Wrong is Wrong.

4.??????Even though damage is done, but this action of mine will benchmark and not allow others to cross lines in future.

5.??????Why to compromise coz of someone else & jeopardise the bond between life partners.

Irrespective of what relation and background all 3 of them come from, as an outsider I fell that Chris Rock joke was mean, rude & insulting. Your freedom of speech stops when it starts crossing the comfort zone of other people. We all burn our A$$ off for our family well being and this makes me believe that NO one has right to harm (physically, Mentally, Verbally) my family at any given point of time.

If I Don’t stand for my Family, I stand for Nothing. Period…………….!!!
