We're trained to believe we should cling to one person only.

Yet there are so many people who pass in and out of our lives.

Good people, worth people, interesting people. Most of them stay for a little while and then move on. Some of them find a place with us and, if we let them, they enrich us.

Don't close yourself off from the rest of the world, Eve. If you find someone who can make you understand a little more, laugh\smile every now and then, give you a new experience, and then never feel guilty. You'll just have more to give back to those who are closest to you.

Smiling has significant psychological, neurological, and health benefits, including increasing dopamine, serotonin, and endorphin levels, reducing stress, improving mood, and enhancing overall well-being.

Smiling is a powerful social cue that helps build and strengthen social connections, improves likability, trustworthiness, and attractiveness, and can positively impact professional and personal relationships.

Smiling is contagious, triggering emotional contagion and automatic facial mimicry in others, leading to increased happiness and positive emotions.

Practicing genuine smiles and engaging the eyes can enhance the authenticity and impact of a smile.

The popular theory that smiling might cause others to perceive you as being younger than you actually are. Sure enough, in a small study, college students perceived older people who had happy smiles on their faces as looking younger than their age. The people with frowns on their faces were categorized as looking older. Here’s my theory about this: A smile provides you with a mini-facelift. Turning up the corners of your mouth raises your entire face, including cheeks, jaw, and neck.?
