"We're really glad that all of our hard work paid off in just reaching the final, let alone coming out at the top of the podium, and we've all had an amazing experience taking part in this competition. This last weekend?has been unforgettable, even avoiding most of the rain as we raced against other teams to adapt our simulation-developed control systems to the real USV platforms for the first time.
We'd like to give a huge thanks to the?Society of Maritime Industries (SMI) for organising this challenge and putting so much time into ensuring the success of this event which also wouldn't have been possible without all the sponsors, who really helped make this challenge accessible to us the large distance away in Aberystwyth."
