Exhibit at Marintec China 2023 as part of the UK Pavilion
SMI will be hosting the UK Pavilion at the newly returned Marintec China 2023 on 5-8th December 2023.

SMIFutures Host Second Board Meeting at Wight Shipyard?

Marine Autonomy Group Workshop 1
Today the MASG held the first in a series of two workshops to ensure that designers/builders and operators have a common understanding of the design and operational spaces to enable safe collaborative solutions. Measuring Ocean Currents to Better Understand Climate
Two Fetch AZA BPRs, developed and built by UK marine technology firm Sonardyne, have been placed thousands of metres below the sea surface where they will record sea surface height to the nearest centimetre, giving the researchers a detailed comparison between the two locations. Deployed for up to 10 years, this will allow them to measure changes in the speed and strength of the AMOC, which will provide crucial data to inform climate predictions.
