SMI will be hosting the SMI Shipyard Pavilion at this year's?Seawork?in Southampton.?

Irish Port Infrastructure Webinar
On?Thursday 25th May at 3pm, the British Embassy Dublin will host a webinar in partnership with the major Irish Ports to highlight the opportunities in port infrastructure, featuring presentations from Ireland’s tier 1 and 2 ports: Dublin Port, Port of Cork, Shannon Foynes Port, Rosslare Europort & Port of Waterford.
Marintec 2023: Expressions of Interest in UK Pavilion now open
SMI will be hosting the UK Pavilion at the newly returned Marintec China 2023 on 5-8th December 2023.
The 2019 show attracted over 71,000 visitors and 2,200 exhibiting companies.?

Welin Lambie Awarded PO by U.S. Navy to Supply Ford Class Carrier Davits
Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD), a portfolio company of Arcline Investment Management, has been awarded a purchase order by Newport News Shipbuilding to supply four davits through Welin Lambie for the Ford Class aircraft carriers CVN 80 and CVN 81 (two davits per vessel). The award follows the supply of davits for CVN 78, which just entered service, and CVN 79, which is currently under construction.

Cammell Laird Undertakes Conversion of RFA Proteus
Over the last three months, Cammell Laird has been undertaking the conversion of RFA Proteus, formally known as Topaz Tangaroa.
The offshore support vessel was purchased by the UK Ministry of Defence earlier this year for conversion for Multi-Role Ocean Surveillance (MROS).
