The Marine Environmental Data and Information Network (MEDIN) is a partnership of UK organisations committed to improving access to UK marine data. MEDIN is sponsored by 15 UK organisations and aims to make all UK marine data Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (FAIR).

Clean Maritime Demonstration Competition (CMDC) 2 Showcase at LISW23
To celebrate the achievements of the CMDC, DfT, Innovate UK and Innovate UK KTN are hosting a final showcase event on the 14th?September as part of LISW.
?This all-day event, held in hybrid format, will include an exhibition showcasing the results of the feasibility studies. Featuring all 121 organisations directly involved in the 31 CMDC 2 projects, the event will bring together key industry players from across business, government, professional institutions, research organisations and academia.
Crown Estate Scotland launches market engagement survey for tidal and wave energy sectors
An in-depth survey of developers working in the tidal and wave energy sectors is to be carried out by Offshore Renewable Energy (ORE) Catapult on behalf of Crown Estate Scotland.?
Views and ideas will be sought from a range of developers who are working to produce and bring to market the next generation of wave and tidal technologies. This information will help inform Crown Estate Scotland’s plans to support future leasing.?
Shipbuilding Credit Guarantee Scheme
The Department of Business and Trade (DBT) Shipbuilding Credit Guarantee Scheme, to be delivered by UK Export Finance (UKEF) is making it easier for operators to procure new build, refit or repair of vessels from UK shipyards.
The department has today published a new flyer with guidance on the scheme.
UKEF and DBT representatives will also be discussing the SCGS at our upcoming WWG Summer Seminar.?
LISW23 - Global Maritime Hub events open for registration
At this year’s LISW, the UK Government in collaboration with partner,?Maritime UK, will be hosting the Global Maritime Hub which will include a number of activities, including workshops, talks and networking events.
Spaces for all events are limited and early registration is encouraged. You will first need to register?your interest?for any of the events you would like to attend by using the links below. Global Underwater Hub launches business survey
