SMH
I feel sorry for my clients.?
I really do.
It’s annoying because they have been working SO hard over the past few years… and they’ve got QUALITY products.
A few weeks ago they were launching six new products… and their plan was to use Facebook and Google ads to drive traffic to their new products.
To the best of my knowledge, FB ads didn’t perform too well… and then to make matters worse, Google stepped in and messed things up!
For no reason, they deactivated my client’s ad account and suspended ALL of their advertising.
Are they serious!?
Apparently, my client violated Google’s terms and conditions and the decision could not be reversed.
As far as I know, they are banned from advertising on Google.
They have appealed, but so far, no response.
SMH!
And THIS is why I hate relying on paid ads - the big platforms - when growing your biz.
THIS is why I’d much rather focus on lead-generation advertising to build a list that can be nurtured and converted over time.
A list that you own, control, and can export, if need be.

Since then, I’ve tried to help them with a strategy to get traffic and leads WITHOUT needing any social media or paid ads.
Some of the traffic-getting methods could even be free.
I think it’s important to advertise on multiple platforms and use multiple media.
And not be overly reliant on Google, Facebook, Instagram, and the Internet… or even email.
I remember seeing in the news that a furniture company got their Facebook ad account banned because their ads were flagged for “Illegal Weapons”.
And the agency managing the account said that they “didn’t know what to do now that Facebook ads had been turned off.”
Question:
How many media and platforms do you rely on for your traffic?
What would happen to your biz if they shut you down?
If your answer is “Not much would change” — then good for you!
But if you know that you’d struggle without your MAIN traffic-getting platform, then read on.
