Featured Alum: Rohit Anand ‘20 MBA, Associate Director of Product Management at Humana?

Rohit Anand started his career journey with Microsoft, USA, as a core Software Engineer, after getting his Bachelor’s degree from the South Dakota State University. As part of Microsoft consulting services, he got an opportunity to work with several Fortune 500 companies to help them through different phases of their digital transformation. At the same time, he completed his Masters of Professional Studies in Enterprise Architecture from the College of IST, Penn State University World Campus. He followed it with MBA in Marketing Analytics from the Smeal College of Business, Penn State University World Campus. While completing his education alongside his fulltime jobs, he transitioned from the professional role of a software engineer to a product manager, working for companies like UnitedHealth Group, Cigna and currently Humana. His current role involves creating Omni-channel strategies and leading the execution efforts to influence the best in class consumer centric shopping journey. While Rohit is busy improving consumer shopping experience in the world of healthcare, he is an adjunct instructor for Smeal College of Business (World Campus) teaching business ethics to the MBA students. He also volunteers for the Penn State World Campus as an Alumni Ambassador answering questions from prospective students.

Rohit’s career tip: Do not be scared of the unknown, embrace the change, and continue to pursue your dreams. There are no doubts that you will be successful.
