Featured Alum: Alexa Sofranko, '16 SC&IS, Consulting Manager at Accenture & Real Estate Advisor at Keller Williams Philly

By day, Alexa Sofranko is a Strategy & Consulting Manager at Accenture and by night, she is a real estate advisor in the Philadelphia and Main Line area with The Daly Group. At Accenture, she specializes in service transformation and AI-driven experiences for Fortune 500 companies throughout the United States. She is a people and process-oriented professional excited about efficiencies and all things real estate.

Prior to joining Accenture after graduating, she interned at KraftHeinz & Keurig Dr Pepper and co-oped at Johnson & Johnson, holding supply chain roles at each company (supply planning, demand planning, procurement). After completing her last internship before senior year, she was connected with Accenture through Out & Allies, a previous Smeal organization focused on uplifting LGBTQ+ people and allies in the business school. The people Alexa has met and worked with alongside at Accenture are unmatched - she has had the most positive and empowering experience and truly believes she would not have the personal and professional confidence and expertise she has today without the unique combination of Accenture & Smeal!?

Outside of her professional commitments, Alexa is a Pittsburgh-native turned Philly-obsessed food enthusiast. She enjoys cooking, exploring new restaurants, walking her puppy Cooper, Peloton-ing, and advocating for all things women.

Alexa's advice: 1) Just go for it. Do what you want and what makes you happy and 2) Find people that champion you and hold onto them.

11. Uma Pattarkine '14 MAcc had a conversation with Nareit REIT Report on the latest SEC climate change disclosure proposal and how her company, CenterSquare Investment Management, thinks about the "social" aspects of ESG in real estate investing.
