SME Founder Training Fatigue

Are small and medium size business Founders experiencing Training Fatigue?

In the fast-paced world of entrepreneurship, seasoned business owners often find themselves at a crossroads.

After years of dedicated leadership and navigating through challenges, they find themselves wondering how to propel their businesses to the next level while maintaining control and integrity.

Unfortunately, most interventions are delivered in a similar way as MBA based case study training programs forgetting that those are targeted to those seeking promotions to senior management in already established organisations.

On the other end are programs that try to convert SME business founders into accountants, lawyers, operations experts, HR miracle workers and Social Media Influencers all at one sitting.

Very few programs are designed to walk the SME founder from a technician to a leader bypassing the management step and instead be able to empower someone else to take up that role as well as that of integrator.

Recognising this need, the team at SCVI - Strathmore Centre for Value Investing at Strathmore University, have designed a new program aimed at providing a fresh perspective and delivery strategies targeted specifically at SME founders committed to their business's growth as well as not require their presence on a daily basis.

Acknowledging the extensive expertise gained from years of steering businesses, the program approaches its participants with humility as opposed to assuming to teach them how to run their businesses.

The objective is to offer a way for them to get a holistic 360-degree view of their business's performance. It is about complementing their dedication and insights with new perspectives, refined operational approaches, and practical strategies.

At the core of the program is to empower the seasoned entrepreneur to navigate their businesses which they setup and have run profitably for years with greater efficiency and less dependence.

The aim is to lessen the day-to-day operational reliance of their business on the founders direct involvement while ensuring they retain control and oversight over crucial decisions.

Through a collaborative learning environment, participants engage in working on their businesses to foster dynamic and sustainable growth which is the precursor to scaling, disposing or handing over of the business they have founded.

The program isn't just about theory; it's about practical insights and actionable steps that participants will implement in their businesses during the duration of the course with follow-up engagements by the facilitators over the next 3 business quarters following the conclusion of the class sessions.

It's about exploring avenues that enhance resilience, growth, priming for scale, and overall success while preserving the core values that have shaped businesses over the years.

As participants embark on this journey of exploration and growth, they're invited to join a community of like-minded business founders who share their passion for business excellence, growth and personal optionality.

We believe that together, they'll unlock new possibilities, overcome challenges, and propel their businesses to greater heights.

In a world where change is constant and competition is fierce, programs like this offer a beacon of hope and opportunity for seasoned entrepreneurs seeking to evolve, adapt, and thrive in the ever-changing landscape of business.
