?? We’re speaking your language?

This month, we’ve added 8 new languages to Smartcar Connect. Depending on your native language or region, your browser will automatically default text in Spanish (Latin America or Spain), Italian, Dutch, Norwegian, Swedish, or Danish. In addition to last month’s German language support, this brings Smartcar’s total language compatibility to 10 worldwide.

?? EV charge limit & EV set charge limit endpoints

Most OEMs recommend setting a charge limit to prevent overcharging and preserve battery health. The world of mobility has undoubtedly changed, and customers today demand a fully-digital, integrative solution for a range of common service issues. Although transforming a manual industry typically takes time, Agile Solutions’ integration with Smartcar allows mobility service providers to quickly adopt contactless rental experiences, no matter where they’re located.

With Smartcar’s APIs, Agile Solutions:

  • Streamlines contactless handouts
  • Expedites check in & check out
  • Digitizes fleet management
  • Centralizes logistics tracking

… for a host of mobility service providers, in one unified platform.

“New [car] models are constantly being released, and we needed a platform that would support new models as they enter the market. We felt that Smartcar’s solution would continue to develop and evolve at the same pace as the mobility market.” — John Revheim, COO & Partner, Agile Solutions

CEO panel: How EV software is solving the EV adoption dilemma

Smartcar CEO, Sahas Katta, joined Energize Ventures and CEOs from Monta, Sitetracker, and DroneDeploy for a panel discussing how software is supporting the most significant transportation shift in recent history.?

The good news? Software allows companies to bridge the gap in the consumer experience with driver-centric apps and services, aligning stakeholders in the EV industry with policymakers, corporations, and drivers to share information and collaborate. This ecosystem of purpose-built tools provides organizations with a way to operationalize different parts of their workflow.

The bad news? Range anxiety, high prices, and charging accessibility are still barriers to EV ownership.
