SMART LOCKS CONTROL

Smart locks are the new trend in door security, which allow controlling your door even from a smartphone and keyless entry. In the 21st century all our appliances, gadgets as fridge, aircon, car and so on are connected to the Internet and controlled via an APP on our smartphone.

Is the door compellable to use a smartlock. Not all doors will work with smartlocks, they should open and close smoothly, the lock must be able to enter at full length to the jamb.

Does the customer wishes to replace his deadbolt or add to it. Not all smartlocks can work with existing deadbolts.

How would the smartlock connect to the Internet. As Bluetooth works for short ranges. Z wave will require a hub, or WIFI that will require power too.

How the customer will unlock the new lock. Some have a keyhole too, some are keyless others have a touchpad and some have a combination of the possibilities.

The installation of a smartlock depends on each model so first familiarize yourself with the smarlock you choose and read the installation manual.
