Challenge The Expected: new brand identity & sound logo for AEG

Our premium brand AEG has unveiled a bold new look with an updated identity, including its first ever sound logo to deliver a truly modern expression.

Tom Astin, AEG Brand and Strategy Director, explains: “This contemporary expression for AEG includes a visual evolution and the introduction of sound. The colour palette pays homage to our beginning as a brand back in 1887 by continuing to use red, but now sees the application of darker hues to create more distinction."

Initial testing of the visual identity has scored well with global consumers and has been well received by our retail partners. You'll be seeing - and hearing - lots of it over the coming weeks and months.

Astin added: "This is a modern update that sets AEG apart from its competitors, conveys our premium market position and with strong product innovations, delivers against our promise to ‘Challenge the Expected'."
