Hey, Hey It’s My Birthday.?As it is October 13th, I thought I would share the 13 best pieces of advice I’ve gotten in business and in life.

1. Be willing to take a hard look at yourself from time to time.
2. When traveling, wear pajamas with a top and a bottom, in case you are awakened in the middle of the night.
3. Be an active listener. People want to feel like they are being listened too.
4. Seek partnerships, not customers.
5. Get yourself a team of mentors (2 business mentors to advocate and sponsor you, 1 personal mentor to help you be a better partner or parent, 1 mentor to keep your secrets, 1 mentor from the opposite sex to translate.)??
6. Don’t take a no from people who can’t say yes. Keep pushing!
7. If it does feel right, don’t do it. Trust your gut, it’s God screaming at you to make a different decision.
8. Never let a customer down.
9. Always operate in integrity, your character is critical.
10. Pray over your business
11. Don’t be so hard on yourself, you are human.
12. Tell people you love them. It never gets old.?
13. Always remember your ABCs, which are the three things you can always control. Your Attitude, Your Behavior and Your Commitment
