The SmallBizLady Buzz - Issue 70

Are you using short-form video to promote your small business?

Well you should be. Since the pandemic, social media has emerged as the #1 sales channel, and short-form video has emerged as the leading tactic. Short-form videos are a snappy way for creators to find an innovative way to showcase their content. For business brands, it’s an effective way to reach an audience they may not have been able to reach before. If you can teach, engage or entertain in 15 seconds, 60 seconds, or 3 minutes, and have an impact, then Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Snapchat Spotlights, and IGTV, Facebook Live could be what you need to grow your business.

Why do these micro videos convert so well?

The growth of social media is causing the human attention span to become shorter and shorter, so leveraging the power of short-form content will give you a leg up on your competition and help engage your audience.

I’m practicing my own advice,?I recently started a TikTok account,?and I would love your feedback. Please follow me and leave a comment.
