March is a great time to highlight what makes women business owners great leaders. There’s a lot of research on women’s leadership, but this is just my personal opinion. Here are my top 5 reasons why women make outstanding business leaders.

1) Women better facilitate collaboration and information-sharing.

2) Women business owners have high levels of self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and the ability to deal with conflict.

3) Women, more than men, are excellent communicators.

4) Women bosses excel at making their teams feel like they are valued. They routinely reach out for feedback or ideas when necessary.

5) 85% of all consumer purchases are made by women, which provides invaluable consumer insight when building marketing campaigns.
